HTC Titan is not called that by chance: it is the new HTC smartphone, large and substantial, both in dimensions and in the robustness it appears to offer. Here is a summary of its features and indicative selling price.
HTC has announced the release of two new smartphones, the most imposing of which is called HTC Titan.
Never was a name more fitting: the Titan is truly “titanic” in weight, at 150 grams.
It is the screen that first catches the eye: larger than usual, it is a 4.7-inch Super LCD.
It also has two cameras: the rear photo-video camera is 8 Megapixels with LED flash, while the front one – for video calls – is 1.3 megapixels.
Around it, it is wrapped in very thin (9.9 millimeters) and slightly curved brushed aluminum, making it more manageable and ergonomic.
The operating system is Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango), the processor is 1.5 GHz and it has 512 MB of RAM, while the internal memory is 16 GB.
Designed to also be an aid to work when you are not in the office, it naturally allows connection via Wi-Fi and 3G, and also offers data transfer via Bluetooth.
Although HTC has not yet released the price of sale, on some e-commerce sites the product page has already appeared in anticipation of pre-orders and subsequent sale: the price should be around 599 euros, but it is still too early to provide a 100% certain figure, which we will not fail to communicate as soon as it is officially confirmed.
Finally, regarding its market arrival, the HTC Titan will reach store shelves in October, likely around the 15th.
