HTC Radar, Smartphone Releasing in October

HTC prepares for the release of the new HTC Radar smartphone, based primarily on online social interaction to be cultivated always, even on the go. Here are its main features.

After presenting the HTC Titan, here is the other new arrival from HTC: it’s called HTC Radar and it’s a device different from its just-mentioned bigger brother.
Bigger first of all in dimensions: unlike the Titan, the HTC Radar is thinner and its screen is 3.8 inches, a size that could be defined as in line with the average screens of other smartphones on the market.
The design is very compact: a single piece, as if fused into one, thanks to the uni-body aluminum casing.
The camera (which also allows capturing videos, not just photos) is 5 Megapixels with LED flash and, just like the other device just presented, there’s also a second front-facing camera useful for video calls.
In this case too, the chosen operating system is Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, while regarding the processor, we find a 1 GHz chip. On the memory front, we note 512 MB of RAM, while the internal memory is 8 GB which, apparently, cannot be expanded via external cards.
In full mobility, many of its functions are based on users’ social life and therefore apps for Windows Live Messenger and Facebook chat are already pre-installed.
As with the Titan, the official price of the HTC is not yet known, but according to some indications on major e-commerce sites, it seems it should be around 400 euros.
