HTC One V: presentation and price of the new HTC entry-level phone

HTC One V is the new entry-level smartphone presented by HTC at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Here are its features and the price of the HTC One V.

For the “entry-level smartphone” category, HTC has not been caught unprepared at all and, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, has presented the new HTC One V.
It is a “close relative” of HTC One X, we could call it a younger brother, although its features are still very interesting.
Let’s start by saying that the operating system is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the HTC Sense 4 interface, and in essence, you are looking at a device similar to the HTC Legend.
The design notes that the body is unibody, entirely in aluminum, enclosing the screen, a 3.7-inch LCD display with Gorilla Glass technology.
The RAM is 512 MB, while the internal memory is 4 GB, expandable – as is now customary for almost all devices – thanks to the use of a microSD card.
Just like with the HTC One X, the HTC One V also allows you to get 25 GB of Dropbox space, free for the next two years.
Regarding the processor, nothing has been officially announced yet, but considering the features, it is likely to be equipped with a 1 GHz single-core processor.

There is also only one camera, so the front-facing one is not present at all. The only one available is 5 Megapixel with integrated autofocus, LED flash, digital zoom, and 720p HD videorecording function.
This device, like its elder brother, also features Beats Audio technology and is finally supported by a 1500 mAh lithium-ion battery.
The price of the HTC One V should be confirmed shortly, but rumors suggest it might be €299.
