Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is the new tablet from Samsung, presented at the Mobile World Congress. Here are the revealed features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is Samsung’s new offering in the tablet sector, unveiled under the spotlight of the Mobile World Congress, a crucial showcase for bringing upcoming products to the attention of businesses, press, and consumers.
Although, in essence, there’s little truly different from its predecessor Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, it’s worth noting that this new tablet features more rounded corners, offering a slightly refreshed design.
From a purely technical standpoint, the chosen operating system is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which interfaces with a 1 GHz dual-core processor, supported by 1 GB of RAM. Regarding internal storage, users can choose between 16 GB and 32 GB models.
As the device’s name suggests, the display is indeed 10.1 inches; specifically, it’s a PLS screen with a WXGA resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
The main camera is 3 megapixels, assisted by a secondary VGA front-facing camera of 1.3 megapixels.

The included battery is 7000 mAh, more than capable of easily supporting a full day of use, especially since the CPU appears to be designed for low power consumption, minimizing energy wastage.
In terms of connectivity, it features Bluetooth 3.0 and, as an option, either 3G or Wi-Fi.
All this is packed into a weight of 588 grams, with dimensions of 256.6 x 175.3 x 9.7 mm.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has not been officially announced, nor is there information on when this tablet will arrive in Italian stores.
