MSI GE72 and GE62 Gaming Notebooks with Intel and NVIDIA Graphics Arrive in Italy

MSI, the global leader in notebook sales for gaming, announces the availability in Italy of the MSI GE72 and GE62 series equipped with Intel® Core i7 (Kabylake) CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1050Ti/1050 mobile GPUs, both unveiled at the recently concluded CES in Las Vegas.

Featuring 17.3″ and 15.6″ displays respectively, these two series of laptops offer various models of thin and powerful gaming notebooks, such as GE72MVR, GE62MVR, GE72VR, GE62VR, GE72, and GE62, all characterized by an excellent price/performance ratio.

Thanks to the new CPUs, MSI’s new notebooks are now capable of ensuring a performance increase of up to 15% compared to previous solutions and bringing significant improvements in areas such as computation, high-resolution video, multimedia, and 4K transcoding. Consequently, the everyday user experience will be improved not only for the most passionate gamers and those who benefit from virtual reality, but also for casual gamers and those who primarily use their PC for work. Moreover, virtual reality enthusiasts will also appreciate Nahimic VR 7.1 audio with Nahimic 2+ technology.

All new laptops in the GE72 and GE62 series are also equipped with the mobile versions of NVIDIA GeForce® GTX1050 Ti and GTX1050 graphics cards, also announced at CES 2017 and capable of offering a significant performance increase with the latest generation games, as well as DirectX 12 support to ensure smooth gameplay even with fine details.

The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti ensures up to 15% more performance than the previous GTX965M, while the GTX 1050 replaces the GTX960M, thus targeting power users and those seeking high performance in games.

Finally, the cooling system is the new Cooler Booster 4, which, thanks to the use of two fans and new heat pipes, manages CPU and GPU separately, ensuring more uniform cooling.

Prices

The new GE72 and GE62 notebooks with 7th Gen Intel® Core i7 processors and new NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1050Ti/1050 mobile GPUs are available starting today in our country with prices starting from 1,599 Euros and 1,549 Euros respectively, VAT included.
