Another new feature in Facebook’s usage mechanisms: the social network announces that the ability to respond with an image in comments has been implemented.

Until recently, comments were available only in purely textual form, with at most the option to add emoticons to better convey expressions and concepts.

It is now possible to post images directly in comments. There was no specific official announcement: simply, a number of subscribers have recently noticed that in the window that opens for the comment editing space, a camera icon now appears at the bottom right.

By clicking on it, it is therefore possible to complete the procedure for uploading an image of our choice.

However, it should be noted that animated GIF images do not seem to be supported by the system at the moment: this is a file type that, despite being highly requested by users, is not accepted by Facebook, not even on walls or albums.

This is not the first time the staff has worked on usage improvements specifically in the comments section; we recall that it was only a short time ago that the system for replying to individual comments on Facebook was first implemented.
