The Casio EXILIM EX-ZS20 is one of the latest compact cameras presented by Casio, with an affordable price and good potential.
Following its official unveiling at CES in Las Vegas, the Casio EXILIM EX-ZS20, one of Casio’s newest compact cameras, is now on the market.
Many digital cameras are called “compact,” but the term fits the Casio EXILIM EX-ZS20 perfectly: its dimensions are indeed quite small (94.9×55.9×20.4 mm), making it very lightweight as well (129 grams total, including battery and optional memory card).
The advantage lies in the extreme ease of handling with which the new Casio EXILIM EX-ZS20 can be used.
Regarding technical details, the sensor features a precise and bright 16.1-megapixel CCD chip, useful for maintaining clarity even when zooming in on taken photos.
Alongside it is a valuable ally: a 26mm wide-angle lens with 6x optical zoom, perfect for framing expansive landscapes as well as focusing on closer details.
A now essential feature on any camera is the ability to record videos: the Casio EXILIM EX-ZS20 meets this need and includes the HD Movie function, for filming in HD at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
All of this can be viewed, reviewed, and selected via the 6.9 cm diagonal TFT color display, which is 2.7 inches: not very large compared to other cameras, but it’s important to consider that the camera body is very slim and compact.
As for the price of the Casio Exilim EX-ZS20, it hovers around 119 euros, but there are already several offers bringing the price down to under 100 euros.
