The Canon Legria HF M56 was recently presented by Canon: here are its features and the price of the Canon Legria HF M56.
Among the camcorders that can be defined as “prosumer”, the Canon Legria HF M56 can certainly find a place in this category: recently presented along with other Canon equipment, it was announced as a camcorder with notable improvements compared to similar models from the past.
First of all, the Canon HD CMOS sensor has been enhanced, especially regarding its ability to render good Full HD images despite any low-light conditions.
The video lens mounted is an HD Canon that ensures quietness and speed, and in terms of zoom, we have a 10x optical zoom well complemented by an iris aperture that promises blurred backgrounds while ensuring very sharp subject capture.
Completing the equipment in this department is Canon Intelligent IS optical image stabilization, useful for automatically achieving good balances without the need for manual intervention. Furthermore, this system is also effective in minimizing shakes, ensuring stability and fluidity.
Audio has been carefully considered, with the creation of three Audio Scene Select profiles to offer the best possible quality considering the entered parameters and the scene being filmed.
Everything can be monitored and even edited via the screen, a 7.5 cm (3-inch) LCD touchscreen display.
This becomes practical and almost indispensable if you want to immediately share what you’ve shot: the Canon Legria HF M56 indeed has integrated Wi-Fi. Considering that you can choose the MP4 recording format, it’s quite understandable how simple it can be to film and immediately post to YouTube, Facebook, or in any other possible way. This is done very easily, thanks to the iOS application “Movie Uploader”.
Regarding storage capacity, it should be noted that the internal memory is 8 GB.
The Canon Legria HF M56 will arrive in stores and online retailers starting April 2012, at the price of 659 euros, as recommended by Canon.
