Milan launches “C Heroes”, a €100,000 call for startups with emergency projects. The initiative stems from B Heroes, the ecosystem of initiatives for innovative startups, and Boost Heroes, a venture capital firm focused on investments in early-stage companies.
The innovation and creativity of Italian startups to combat the new coronavirus. With this spirit, “C Heroes” (Coronavirus Heroes) is born, a €100,000 call to fund and support concrete projects that can contribute to addressing the emergency caused by the new coronavirus that has hit Italy and the entire world in recent days. Projects of all kinds and categories will be evaluated, not just health-related ones: any action that can help improve people’s lives as quickly as possible.
“C Heroes” originates from an idea by B Heroes, the ecosystem of initiatives for innovative startups, and Boost Heroes, a venture capital firm focused on investments in early-stage companies, with the aim “to stimulate – explain the organizers – the creativity of Italian startups that have devised a product, a technology, a process to deal with the new coronavirus pandemic”.
To participate in the call, you must fill out the form on the website http://www.bheroes.it/c-heroes/, describing the startup and the project. Given the extreme urgency dictated by the pandemic, proposals received will be evaluated on a rolling basis; the first one(s) deemed convincing will be immediately funded.
The call is open to all Italian startups established by March 15, 2020, and the deadline is March 31, 2020 or until the €100,000 is fully allocated, which could happen sooner.
