Apple MacBook Pro and Retina: Lower Prices and Increased Speed

Apple’s MacBook Pro Retina models – including those with Retina display – will be sold at lower prices, yet will offer an improvement: processor speed will be higher.

Good news for anyone considering purchasing a MacBook Pro: Apple has announced some noteworthy changes.
The pricing for MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro with Retina display models has indeed been slightly adjusted downwards, offering prices lower than those in effect until yesterday.
Despite this, Apple has simultaneously announced that processor modifications have also been made, naturally for improvement: new components to achieve higher speed.
In detail, here are the indications on price and features, as announced by Apple:

  • MacBook Pro with 13-inch Retina display: starting from €1,529 for the version with 128GB of flash storage;
  • MacBook Pro with 13-inch Retina display version with 128GB of flash storage: starting from €1,529;
  • MacBook Pro with Retina display new model with 2.6GHz processor and 256GB of flash storage: from €1,729.

 

Regarding the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, it is informed that the new processor is a 2.4GHz quad-core, while the top-of-the-line model features a 2.7GHz quad-core processor and 16GB of memory.
Finally, there is also news regarding the 13-inch MacBook Air with 256GB of flash storage: in this case too, the price has decreased, now standing at €1,429.
