Amazon Ready for 3D Smartphone: Autumn Release?

The e-commerce giant Amazon is reportedly ready to release its first smartphone, featuring a 3D display.

This coming autumn could be the opportune moment for Amazon to launch its smartphone: a perfect timing also in view of Christmas gifts.
It is learned these days, in fact, that the e-commerce giant – already engaged in the production of Kindle e-readers and Kindle Fire tablets – is busy with the final details of its first smartphone.
The detail that would make the difference compared to what is already on the market would be the screen: in fact, we are talking about a new technology for 3D viewing of the content that will appear on the display.
It was already discussed last May but this time the Wall Street Journal reveals that some developers have been summoned to Amazon to work on prototypes and test apps on these sorts of holograms that can provide the 3D effect without the need for special glasses.
Not only that: Amazon’s smartphone would also be equipped with four special cameras that, by continuously capturing the user’s eye movements, would always provide a personalized and precise view.

No details have been leaked about the technical specifications that could be included in Amazon’s smartphone but it is rumored that two models may be released soon: one more basic, the other – equipped with the aforementioned 3D display – top of the range.
Will autumn truly bring such news?
