Just one hour between order confirmation and home delivery: it’s Amazon Prime Now.
Amazon has officially launched a brand-new system for delivering merchandise purchased on its portal.
It’s called “Amazon Prime Now” and allows customers to choose what they want from the e-commerce site, pay for it all, and receive it within an hour of order confirmation. A service that provides a rapid and concrete response for those who need something within the same day, in a really short amount of time.
Currently, the project has been designed to work best only in the Manhattan area, but the e-commerce giant plans for it to expand to other areas in the near future. However, it appears that the development of Amazon Prime Now might primarily focus on major metropolitan areas.
Naturally, a service of this kind, so widespread and fast, will have associated costs: to benefit from delivery within one hour, an extra charge of 7.99 euros will apply.
If, however, you are not in a particular hurry and choose to wait two hours, the service becomes free.
To use Amazon Prime Now, you must first be a subscriber to the Amazon Prime service. Secondly, you will need to proceed with selecting and purchasing the items of interest through a dedicated app, available for both Android and iOS. Through this app, you will have real-time visibility of the available catalog for ultra-fast delivery.
At this point, you will proceed with the order and payment, keeping in mind that the service is available from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM every day, including Saturdays and Sundays.
