Amazon chooses Sardinia for the opening of its new Customer Service: in Cagliari the facility will offer new job opportunities but above all assistance to Amazon customers.
Amazon continues to invest in Italy, a sign that local customers are evidently rewarding the store’s sales service.
For this reason, the company has decided to open the new Customer Service and has opted to do so in Sardinia, specifically settling in Cagliari.
The full opening will take place during the second quarter of 2013, but at the moment Amazon has started carrying out selections for job openings in Cagliari which will lead to the creation of about 500 new employees over the next 5 years.
In particular, Amazon is looking for managers, team managers, and customer service and technical support staff, as the Customer Service will be responsible for providing assistance 365 days a year to Italian-speaking customers of Amazon and the new Amazon BuyVIP.
In particular, the open positions for Cagliari – but also for other points of interest opened by Amazon in Italy – can be found at the link www.amazon.it/lavoro where all sought-after roles are listed and continuously updated.
It is also possible to send an unsolicited application in the section “Apply now“.
With the opening of the new Customer Service in Cagliari, the number of Amazon sites in Italy thus rises to three: the first was inaugurated in October 2011 in Castel San Giovanni, in the province of Piacenza (distribution center); the second was opened last September in Milan (offices), and today comes the news of the upcoming launch of Customer Service operations in Cagliari.
