Amazon: Deliveries Available at Giunti Bookstores

Customers of the Amazon Italia portal can now select a new delivery option when completing an order.
The e-commerce giant has announced a new partnership in Italy that allows customers to pick up ordered products at any of the numerous “Giunti” bookstores across the country.
This way, those who work away from home all day can avoid making specific arrangements with the courier or having Amazon packages delivered to the office.
Customers can select one of the many “Giunti al Punto” stores to conveniently pick up their items.
Parcels from Amazon warehouses will be held at the selected bookstore for up to 14 days from the moment the customer receives an email notification from Giunti stating the goods are available.
To collect the package, a valid identification document must be presented, or a properly completed authorization form is required to pick up items on behalf of someone else with their explicit permission.
Delivery times remain practically unchanged: 1 or 2 days for Amazon Prime customers; a few extra days in all other cases, as indicated at the time of purchase.

When choosing this particular delivery method – by directly selecting the desired Giunti bookstore or specifying a postal code or area of interest – customers can immediately view the precise address and opening hours of the “Giunti al Punto” bookstore.
