Amazon kicks off the first Italian Black Friday: products discounted up to 50% on Friday, November 29. There will also be offers on December 2 for Cyber Monday.
Traditional and always highly anticipated, Black Friday is the day entirely dedicated to shopping in the United States of America.
It is, in fact, the official start of the Christmas sales season; to kickstart this period with great momentum, it has always been decided to apply significant discounts to all merchandise precisely on the first available Friday.
Amazon, the e-commerce giant, has therefore introduced the same initiative in Italy as well, announcing that on November 29, many products will be sold with discounts of up to 50% compared to the usual retail price.
In particular, the categories that will be part of Black Friday will be the following:
- Electronics and IT
- Home and Kitchen
- Movies and TV
- Video Games
- Music
- Watches.
In total, there will be approximately 250 products on offer, but it should be noted that availability will be limited: only a certain number of units will be heavily discounted, after which prices will return to normal.
The special sales will begin at 9:00 AM on Friday, November 29, 2013, and will run until midnight. Additionally, there will be a second day of discounts scheduled for Monday, December 2, also from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM. This second date will feature the day known as “Cyber Monday“.

Finally, apps will also be included in this initiative: on the Amazon App-Shop, eight very popular apps will be made completely free (Quell, Fruit Ninja, Bloon TD 5, Hambo, Sonic The Hedgehog, Angry Birds Space AD-Free, Angry Birds Space HD Kindle Tablet Edition, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run).
Many other apps will see significant price reductions, with discounts often exceeding 50%.
