New series of ThinkPad laptops with cutting-edge design that breaks the mold and introduces new colors and materials to our portfolio of premium business laptops.

The all-newThinkPad Z13 and Z16 embrace the modern design philosophy, targeting a new audience of business users. The new, stunning design reflects a different attitude towards technology and its environmental impact, as well as greater attention to the origin of raw materials. The design not only highlights unique and refined colors like bronze and arctic grey, but also makes room for more sustainable materials such as recycled aluminum or eco-leather in the black color variant. Sustainability also extends to packaging, made entirely from bamboo and sugarcane – recyclable and compostable materials, while the AC adapter is made from 90% post-consumer recycled content.

ThinkPad Z13 and Z16 are powered by next-generation AMD Ryzen PRO processors and will feature the Microsoft Pluton security processor to ensure enhanced chip-to-cloud security on Windows 11 PCs. The Microsoft Pluton security processor, designed and updated by Microsoft, reduces the exposure of new Windows 11 PCs, protecting user identity and data, as well as applications.

The collaboration between Lenovo and AMD also involves the design of a cutting-edge platform that streamlines all parts of the system, from electronics to hardware to software. The ThinkPad Z13, equipped with the exclusive next-generation AMD Ryzen 7 PRO processor, offers a top-tier collaboration experience. Processor optimization ensures smooth audio and video performance, maximizes responsiveness, and provides amazing battery life for applications like Teams and Zoom. The ThinkPad Z16 can also be configured with the new AMD Radeon discrete graphics card, based on AMD smart technologies, for increased productivity, advanced content creation, and non-competitive gaming. Paired with Ryzen processors, AMD Smart Shift Max provides an immediate boost in CPU and GPU power, while Smart Shift Eco is designed to maximize battery efficiency.

We are excited about the significant evolutionary leap given to the design of the ThinkPad Z series, which however does not prevent the ThinkPad Z13 and Z16 from resonating with the essential design and engineering principles from the brand’s origins.

The ThinkPad Z series integrates aesthetic and technological features capable of making each user’s experience even better. Minimalism is deliberately sophisticated and refined. Displays have been optimized with ultra-thin 16:10 bezels. The quality of audio and video conferences is improved by the new communications bar, which houses a more powerful Full HD webcam with a 1.4 µm pixel sensor and dual-array microphones. A glass ForcePad, 120mm wide, has been introduced, seamlessly continuing into the glass palm rest for fast and easy typing. Additionally, long-time users of the iconic red TrackPoint will notice a new feature: a double-click on the TrackPoint launches a communication QuickMenu for quick access to common camera and microphone settings.

Our intention is to satisfy users with a look that stands out to the eye and touch, using recycled materials and keeping the promise of an exceptional experience, while ensuring IT departments receive enterprise-class performance, security, reliability, and manageability.

Further assurance comes from the fact that the Z13 and Z16 are ThinkPad laptops and, as such, are tested to MIL-Spec 810H military standards and undergo the same rigorous quality controls as any other ThinkPad laptop, a crucial phase in ThinkPad product development, especially when using new materials.

• Dolby Atmos® speaker system and AI-powered Dolby Voice® noise cancellation technology
• New feature with double-click on TrackPoint to launch a communication QuickMenu for quick access to camera and microphone settings
• Z13 integrates next-generation AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 U-Series processors with integrated AMD Radeon graphics and Microsoft Pluton security processor. The Z13 is also exclusively available with an AMD Ryzen PRO processor
• The Z16 model integrates next-generation AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 H-Series processors with integrated AMD Radeon graphics or, as an option, with AMD Radeon discrete graphics, and features the Microsoft Pluton security processor.
• AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 processors with Qualcomm® FastConnect 6900 offer advanced manageability and industry-leading Wi-Fi connectivity on both Z13 and Z16 models. Additionally, the Qualcomm® 4-stream Dual Band Simultaneous^[1] (DBS) on AMD Ryzen™ PRO 6000 processors allows Wi-Fi Dual Station, natively supported on Windows 11, to maintain potentially low latency
• Pre-installed Windows 11 operating system
• Match-on-chip fingerprint reader integrated into the keyboard for enhanced security and convenience.
