TomTom, the location technology specialist, has extended the availability of TomTom GO Navigation across all major platforms. Downloadable from App Store, Google Play e Huawei AppGallery, the TomTom GO Navigation app comes with detailed 3D maps that are stored on the driver’s phone, ensuring a high-definition driving experience even when driving without a mobile network. Once connected, maps are enriched by a full suite of TomTom online services, including traffic information and speed camera location alerts.
TomTom GO Navigation is easy to use and showcases a wide range of innovative features to help the driver navigate more safely, including an expert user interface and the beloved Moving Lane Guidance. When drivers approach an intersection or exit, the guidance feature helps them avoid missing last-minute turns by clearly indicating which lane or lanes they should be in.
Equipped with the latest maps, TomTom GO Navigation allows drivers to navigate safely with the most up-to-date road information. Offline maps can be updated weekly when connected to a network to check for any changes in speed limits and update relevant points of interest such as parking and petrol stations, as well as helping drivers by selecting better routes. Customizable maps are also an important feature of TomTom GO Navigation, allowing drivers to add and remove map regions according to their interests and travel plans. Maps from all over the world can be downloaded by country or region as and when needed, limiting the amount of phone memory used.
TomTom GO Navigation includes the new TomTom Online Search and Routing feature, which makes it easier to search for a destination, select the best route, and find the ETA. The app also includes TomTom Traffic, an accurate and reliable real-time traffic information service, and in some countries also TomTom Speed Cameras, which helps the driver to adhere to speed limits. TomTom GO Navigation is ad-free, and drivers can rest assured knowing that TomTom does not monetize their personal data.
TomTom GO Navigation offers a free 30-day trial without obligation, after which they can opt to subscribe to a yearly subscription of €12.99, or €8.99 for six months, or a €1.99 monthly subscription. These can be purchased via Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, and App Store accounts.
