Tiscali: network collapse and blackout, what’s happening?

The Tiscali network has been inaccessible since this morning: the network is experiencing a blackout. What is the situation?

Since this morning, thousands of users have been reporting malfunctions on theTiscali network.
In reality, rather than simple disruptions, the situation is shaping up to be a genuineTiscali network blackout.
Web services are therefore blocked, but at the same time, ADSL lines are also not functioning.
Until around 6:30/6:40 this morning, the connection had no problems; subsequently, many realized that their home or companyTiscali networkwas not working at all.
Even when trying to check emails and web services offered by Tiscali via mobile connection, the situation was immediately the same: the belief therefore arose that there was an ongoingblack-out.
In fact, not many minutes ago, on the official social media channels ofTiscali on Facebookand onTwitteran official message from the company was read: around 1 p.m., the Tiscali Services staff indeed announced that they are still working to restore the normal situation.

Therefore, it reads: “Good morning everyone, the disruptions occurring in these hours are being resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you all for your patience and cooperation. For any technical details, please post your comments and read the technical news on Tiscali Help Desk. In this regard, we provide a service announcement: ‘We recommend performing an on/off of the modem and reconfiguring it if you have reset it.’ Thank you and regards, Tiscali Services“.
Therefore, although the Tiscali network has not yet fully restarted, it seems clear that the technicians are well on their way and close to restoring everything correctly, given that they advise trying to turn the modem off and on again.
