Archos smartphones: new arrivals in Italy in May

We have often covered Archos tablets, following the announcement of new models.
Today, however, there is a rather important company change to announce for Archos: the range of available products will soon be expanded with the arrival of smartphones.
A debut for the company which will also offer in Italy, starting from May, three new smartphones, all characterized by being dual SIM.
In particular, it is understood that the processors used will be Qualcomm and all will be based on the Android operating system.
While further detailed information on the technical characteristics of each new device is awaited, it is possible to anticipate their names: Archos 35 Carbon, Archos 50 Platinum, and Archos 53 Platinum.
The numbers that make up their names seem to have been borrowed from the screen sizes of each terminal: the first will have a diagonal of 3.8 inches, the second 5 inches, and the last – probably the top of the range – 5.3 inches.

All models will also be equipped with a dual camera, one rear and the other front.
At the moment, it is also possible to anticipate the price ranges within which these new Archos smartphones will be placed, while specifying that official confirmation is awaited both for the launch date and for the selling price in Italy.
In France, the following price ranges are mentioned:
– between 82 and 99 euros for Archos 35 Carbon;
– between 200 and 249 euros for Archos 50 Platinum;
– between 240 and 299 euros for Archos 53 Platinum.
