The next version of Android could bring many more contributions than today in terms of new video games and gaming in general: Google would be working on a game center.
It seems that Google is working to create a true game center within its Android universe.
Indeed, some rumors suggest that gaming environment more extensive and robust than what is currently available is being designed in the Mountain View laboratories.
This news is spreading after the staff of the site Android Police announced that they had noticed traces pointing towards a project focused on the world of video games, within the code used to program the Google Glass application.
However, it is likely that the two areas are not immediately connectable, in the sense that, at the current state, it does not yet appear possible to interact with the multimedia glasses through such complex applications.
Nevertheless, it is important to note the presence of a folder within which, according to the curators of Android Police, all the instructions for a fully functional game center would be located.
There would indeed be code for leaderboards, for managing a chat for players, for multiplayer modes, and for conducting games in real-time or at later times.
The novelty of a potential Google game center, with code already embedded in Android, would undoubtedly simplify life for developers who could thus count on a platform that is already appropriately designed and stable.
