A scientific calculator appears on Google.com: here’s how to activate and use it, even from Italy.
News among the features inherent in the use of the Google search engine: for a few hours now, it has been noticed that a scientific calculator has appeared.
Currently, the innovation is only present on Google.com but it will certainly not be long in arriving elsewhere in the world.
The Google scientific calculator can still be used even from Italy, by using the Google.com home page instead of Google.it.
Simply type the arithmetic operation you wish to perform in the search box to automatically see the calculator appear. The search engine recognizes the need to complete a calculation, offering the tool.
If Google responds with this new feature to the simple typing of “2+2”, to give a trivial example, the same calculator will also be able to process solutions to expressions and functions.
The Google scientific calculator consists of virtual keys, developed thanks to HTML5 code: in addition to the numeric keypad, there are keys for calculating square roots, sine, cosine, and everything that an analog device would normally allow you to do.
The path taken by Google seems clear: to provide immediate answers to users’ questions, sometimes prioritizing proprietary tools over search results, as in the case of this new scientific calculator.
In short, Google’s new objective would seem to be to equip itself with its own tools and solutions, rather than organizing results in the strict sense.
