During the last quarter of 2013, the ZTE Geek, a new and powerful smartphone, will be released.
From China comes one of the next smartphones to be released that will undoubtedly spark conversation: the specifications of ZTE Geek, its name, certainly do not leave one indifferent.
At the moment, the selling price for this device is not yet known, but given its features, it is conceivable that it will be positioned in a segment befitting a high-end smartphone.
The CPU is an Intel Atom Z2580 at 2 GHz with a 32-nanometer manufacturing process, with 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of available internal memory, and the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system natively available.
The display will be 5 inches with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and HD technology.
Two cameras are present: the main one will be 8 megapixels, while the one on the front casing will be 1 megapixel.
The more powerful camera will also feature an LED flash.
According to initial statements and its specifications, speed is the strong point of this smartphone: the Clover Trail+ device is, in fact, twice as fast as previous devices in terms of processing.
As for graphics, the comparison highlights a speed that is even triple that of predecessors.
All of this is finally supported by a 2300mAh battery.
Nothing else is known about the ZTE Geek, but in the coming months, the global distribution landscape and reference prices in various markets will certainly become clearer.
