Yota Phone, the smartphone with a dual display

The smartphone market sees a novelty: a device with two displays has been unveiled. Its name is Yota Phone; here are its features.

It comes from Russia and stands out distinctly from other smartphones currently on the market.
It’s called Yota Phone and its main characteristic is being equipped with a dual display, one of which features E-ink technology.
The manufacturing company is Yota Devices, making its debut in the smartphone market precisely with this very unique model: a way to not go unnoticed, that’s for sure.
Much is still unknown about the technical specifications of the Yota Phone, but some details can be anticipated: the processor will be a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4, supported by the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal memory.
Both displays will be 4.3 inches but seem designed for different functionalities. The first is indeed a classic LCD with a 1280×720 pixel resolution, while the other display is E-ink. This latter screen may be used for scrolling text messages, various notifications, and anything purely textual.

Obviously, one could read ebooks and view various documents from it.
The LCD screen, on the other hand, would seem intended for multimedia in a broad sense.
It is not yet possible to know when the Yota Phone will be released on the market, nor is there any mention of a selling price yet.
This innovative smartphone will likely be released during the third quarter of 2013.
