Vodafone Smart prime is the new smartphone arriving at all brand stores, at a low cost.
Vodafone, yesterday, launched and presented to the press a new smartphone model, created under the brand of the telecommunications company itself.
As often happens in these cases, these are mid-range devices offered at competitive and attractive prices.
In this case too, the “formula” remains unchanged.
The information regarding the technical characteristics of this smartphone released through the press release is rather scarce and essential, but it allows us to understand quite well that it represents an excellent compromise between current hardware specifications and a low-cost price.
The display is HD type, 5 inches, set in a body with a thickness of only 8.9 millimeters, for an overall weight of the device of 156 grams.
Regarding the technological components that “run” the smartphone, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz supported by 1 GB of RAM and with 8 GB of internal memory natively available, expandable via a microSD card (not included in the sales package) up to a maximum of 64 GB.
The operating system is Android, version 5.0 Lollipop, therefore very current.
There are two cameras: the front one is 2 megapixels, while the main one is 8 megapixels and is equipped with a flash and autofocus system.
It is interesting to note that this device supports 4G – LTE connectivity, therefore for super-fast network connections.
As for pure aesthetics, the Vodafone Smart prime smartphone will be marketed in two refined colors: anthracite gray or silver.
The price of the Vodafone Smart prime is 149 euros, with availability in all brand stores starting Friday, May 15, 2015.
