Vodafone: Free 4G network on smartphones until March

Vodafone’s 4G network becomes available on smartphones, free until March 2013 for a trial period. Here are the subsequent prices.

The expansion project of the Vodafone 4G network continues, and today the company announces that ultra-fast connectivity is now also accessible via smartphone.
Naturally, to navigate using this new type of network, you will need a smartphone enabled for 4G network reception, as well as a 4G SIM.
To allow Vodafone customers to test the connection speed and general performance of the 4G network, the telephone company has decided to make 4G access completely free until March 31, 2013.
This is therefore a free trial period which, from April 1st onwards, will instead involve a fee of 10 euros per month, an additional amount to be considered on top of the existing tariff plan and rate option in use.

The possibility to test the 4G network for free on your smartphone does not require any subsequent confirmation of subscription to the service: if you no longer wish to browse on the super-fast network, you can simply revert to the 3G connection.
More information can be found on the Vodafone website or requested from customer care operators reachable at the phone number 190.
