Vodafone announces that the 4G network (LTE) is available in a series of new territories: here are all the cities currently covered.
Vodafone continues with its super-fast network expansion plan LTE and announces the new “map” of the 4G coverage in Italy.
In total, as of today, 21 Italian cities are covered by the 4G service, thanks to the addition to the LTE networkof another 13 cities compared to those already covered previously, since the launch of the new connectivity in our country.
Consequently, even the 3G HSPA+coverage sees a significant improvement, thus reaching over 200 municipalities.
Huge steps, considering that Vodafone launched the 4G network on October 30, 2012, starting with coverage in Milan and Rome.
Subsequently, other cities were added, bringing the total to the current 21.
Vodafone currently allows you to test the 4G networkservice in a free trialuntil May 31st on smartphones. Subsequently, the price to take advantage of all the potential of the LTE network is 10 euros per month, in addition to the usual rate or the option activated on prepaid.
