Thecus launches the new N4910U PRO, a family of 4-Bay 1U Rackmount NAS designed to offer small and medium-sized businesses exceptional resilience and top-tier multi-thread performance.

TheN4910U PRO series is based on aQuad-Core Intel Xeon Skylake 3.3GHz Server CPU, complemented by8GB of DDR4 ECC RAM, expandable up to 64GB, and offers compatibility with the latest generation of high-capacity SATA drives, making it ideal for particularly heavy multi-threading applications.
All models then provide up to40TB of storage space and offer the option to installDual-Port 10GbE network cards,such as theThecus C10GI540T22, which allows data transfer speeds to be brought to the highest levels.
TheN4910U PRO series then ensures completebackup and data protection functionalities, including: Thin provisioning, replication for disaster recovery, snapshot technology (Btrfs file system only), Data Guard for Disaster Recovery (for local or remote real-time backups), and backup to cloud services, including DropBox, ElephantDrive, and Amazon S3. To ensure the highest levels of security, the softwareAcronis True Image e and Intel Security are also provided in the bundle.
Thanks to the latest version ofThecusOS 7.0, theN4910U series finally offers a comprehensive range of features, including third-party ones like Scale Out, which allows companies to easily grow their data center storage space by introducing additional NAS.
