Sony BRAVIA XR A80J, the OLED TV with cognitive intelligence

I Sony OLED BRAVIA XR A80J TV with Cognitive Processor XR will be available soon, along with the entry-level X80J/X81J 4K LED models.

Sony has announced that the televisions OLED 4K HDR BRAVIA XR A80J and the entry-level 4K LED X80J/X81J 4K models will be available soon. The XR A80J televisions are part of the highly anticipated BRAVIA XR range with Cognitive Processor XR, a processor that uses a more innovative and effective processing method than conventional AI to replicate the way the human brain perceives and hears.

When we look at something, we unconsciously focus on certain points. Cognitive Processor XR, with its cognitive intelligence, divides the screen into numerous zones and detects the position of the “focal point” in the image. While conventional artificial intelligence (AI) can only detect and analyze individual elements of the image, such as colors, contrast, and details, the new Cognitive Processor XR simultaneously performs a cross-analysis of multiple elements, much like our brain does. In this way, all elements are adjusted jointly to achieve a better final result, where each factor is synchronized, and the scene appears realistic, at levels unattainable by conventional AI.
