The Smart Pad Mini Mobile is a phablet produced by Mediacom that will reach stores in the coming weeks at a low price.
Mediacom has recently unveiled a new device called the Smart Pad Mini Mobile.
Contrary to what one might initially assume, this new device is not a tablet. The company is well-known in Italy precisely for its tablets offering good value for money.
This time, however, we are talking about a phablet that will hit the shelves in April.
The Smart Pad Mini Mobile will be equipped with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, leveraging a 1 GHz dual-core Cortex A) processor with a 400 MHz PowerVR SGX531 GPU.
The available RAM will be 512 MB, with 4 GB of internal storage.
As is often the case, it is possible to expand storage capacity in this instance as well, using a microSD card of up to 32 GB.
Regarding the display, the device can be handled via a 5.3-inch LCD multitouch display (960×540 pixel resolution) of QHD type. Two cameras are available: the first is 8 megapixels, while the secondary one – located on the front casing – is 2 megapixels.
It’s interesting to note that the phablet is a dual SIM device (UMTS+GSM and GSM)) and offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS connectivity.
On paper, the 2200 mAh battery should ensure good battery life.
The price of the Smart Pad Mini Mobile will be around 219 euros.
