The online school registrations have started, but the website doesn’t seem to be fully working at the moment: here’s how to register, even if you don’t have an internet connection at home.
The school “revolution” on the web seems to have symbolically begun this morning: from today, Monday, January 21st, to enroll in schoolschool enrollmentit will be mandatory to perform theonline procedure, through theMiur IT system.
This method will be necessary for enrollments for the initial classes of each course of study, with the exception of preschool; another necessary clarification is that this rule applies exclusively to state schools, as private schools have no obligation in this regard.
At the moment the sitewww.iscrizioni.istruzione.itdoes not seem to be working correctly, probably due to the large influx of people trying to enroll their children in school: there is slowness in opening pages and the application is not always processed correctly to the end, precisely because the system appears “clogged” these hours.
However, it should be specified that the deadline foronline school enrollmenthas been set for Thursday, February 28th, so there is still more than a month to complete this task, perhaps on days when the system will certainly be freer and the procedure – therefore – faster and smoother.
Families who do not have the possibility to use a connection to carry out online school enrollment can still count on the assistance of school staff: you can turn to either the school where you wish to enroll or your current school.
Families can follow the progress of their application by returning to the ministry’s website and will be notified by the schools of any changes regarding the submitted application, by means of emails sent to the email address used when filling out the enrollment form.
More information can be found on the Miur website.
It is advisable to let a few days pass if the system continues to be congested and to avoid contacting schools in this eventuality: the schools themselves would use the same site to help families with enrollments.
School staff do not have any different channel to send the forms; the same site would be used.
