The official announcement from Samsung regarding the commercialization of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 has arrived: the tablet is about to be released.
The official presentation of Samsung’s new tablet has taken place: the company has indeed announced that the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is about to arrive on the market.
It is a 7-inch device that will run on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and will initially be released in the Wi-Fi only version.
In this case, the sales launch has already been made official: the tablet will be available for purchase during the month of May.
For those considering the purchase of the 3G + Wi-Fi version, however, you will need to wait a few more weeks: the model with this functionality will be released in June.
Upon reviewing the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, it’s clear that there aren’t very significant new features compared to the previous model.
Nevertheless, the tablet’s specifications can be summarized as follows: the processor is a dual-core 1.2 GHz, with internal storage of 8 or 16 GB and an SD card slot that allows storage expansion up to 64 GB.
The screen will be exclusively 7 inches: no 10-inch model is currently planned, unlike in the past. The display resolution is 1024×600 pixels.
Two cameras are available: the main one is 3 megapixels, while the front-facing one is 1.3 megapixels.
Finally, the battery capacity is 4000 mAh.
However, it is not currently possible to indicate the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3: the company has not released any official information in this regard.
