Samsung Galaxy S6: First Previews and Presentation Date

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is ready for its presentation, with exciting previews circulating in recent hours.

Samsung is close to launching its new smartphone model, which will become the top-of-the-range device for the coming months.
It is, of course, the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S6, a handset expected to be unveiled on March 1, 2015, coinciding with the start of Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona.
Alongside entirely unofficial rumors, official information has also emerged in recent hours, released by the @SamsungMobile account on Twitter.
A teaser video was indeed published with the following description: “I am #TheNextGalaxy. See how I give more time to others at #Unpacked”.
Therefore, the launch is truly imminent.
As for the leaked previews, for which confirmation is anticipated at Mobile World Congress, the talk is of a proprietary processor: no longer a Qualcomm, but an Exynos 7420 Octa.
The RAM should reach 3 GB, while regarding the natively available operating system, there should be no doubt: it will be Android version 5, hence Lollipop.

There is also talk of a flexible display developed on three sides and the possibility of wireless battery charging.
On the occasion of the Samsung Galaxy S6 launch, a new payment system, likely called “Plaso,” may also be presented, usable precisely via Samsung Galaxy S6. This system is expected to enter the mobile payment sector, thus directly competing with services like Google Wallet and Apple Pay.
At the moment, nothing else is known about the smartphone, but in the next two weeks, all eyes in Barcelona will undoubtedly be on Samsung.
