As per consolidated tradition, the launch of new high-end devices from Samsung is always followed by the release of their “mini” versions.
While many were wondering if the same would happen for the Samsung Galaxy S4, a confirmation has arrived – albeit indirectly and subsequently removed – supporting the hypothesis of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini smartphone’s release.
On the official Samsung Apps website, an emblematic event occurred: users connected a few hours ago were able to see the icon-photo of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini among the devices compatible with some applications.
This was enough to trigger the automatic mental association: if Samsung itself erroneously posted the icon, it must mean the model is anticipated and perhaps already exists, awaiting only the presentation and launch for sales to begin.
The quickest users, intrigued by the appearance of the new device’s name, took a screenshot of the page indicating the compatibility of some apps with the future Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.
A well-played move, given that shortly after, the Samsung App site was evidently modified, leaving no trace of the potential new smartphone.
Too late: the captured images began circulating the web, thus fueling the hypothesis of an imminent release of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.
The company has not released any statements on the matter, but – if testing phases are indeed this advanced – it shouldn’t be long before we learn more, this time in a completely official capacity.
