A few days ago, we reported curious news regarding the alleged existence of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the new smartphone from Samsung.
Unveiled due to an error perhaps made by technicians working on the Samsung Apps site, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini seemed to be among the upcoming models, even though there was no official confirmation yet.
Now, here comes the official communication from Samsung presenting the new Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini smartphone.
Naturally, the starting point is the Samsung Galaxy S4, with a first and important exception: the Mini is less powerful.
Obviously, the design also changes, meaning the overall dimensions are smaller and the weight is 107 grams.
Regarding the display, it’s a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, while the processor is a 1.7GHz Dual Core.
Great performance in the audio and video department, with the presence of two cameras: the main rear camera is 8 megapixels, while the front camera is HD and 1.9 megapixels.
Supported networks are 3G or Hspa, 4G Lte, or 3G Dual sim.
As for the release period, it is thought that the first batches could arrive in stores as early as July, while the official details regarding the price of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini are not yet known.
However, it is hypothesized that it could be around 400 – 450 euros.
