Samsung Galaxy S 3: Mobile World Congress Previews

The Samsung Galaxy S 3 will not be released by the end of 2011, but some previews might arrive during the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona.

There is much anticipation for the release of the Samsung Galaxy S 3 following the excellent reception of its currently popular predecessor: the Samsung Galaxy S 2.
Versatile, fast, and powerful, Samsung’s device is thus preparing to cede some of its visibility to the new Galaxy S 3, which, although initially expected for a pre-Christmas release, will actually seemingly hit store shelves worldwide during the first half of 2012.
According to some rumors, in fact, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S 3 could be the flagship device to be presented at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, scheduled from February 27th to March 1st, 2012.
The release, therefore, could officially happen in the spring; although several months are still missing, the “guessing features” has already begun.
It seems, in fact, that the operating system for the Samsung Galaxy S 3 will be Android, and specifically, the new Ice Cream Sandwich.
Notable improvements in storage and RAM: the new device is expected to reach an internal memory capacity of 32 GB, with 1.5 GB of RAM. The screen and camera are also expected to be significantly enhanced: 10 Megapixels for the latter, for images – and more – viewable on a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen.
Supporting similar functionalities requires the use of a powerful and stable processor, and in this regard, it seems the Samsung Galaxy S 3 will be equipped with a 2 GHz quad-core processor.
If all of this were confirmed, we would be looking at a smartphone with great technical potential, high-level, and probably also a high price range. After all, there would be substantial merit to justify the cost.
