Samsung announces the release of the new smartphone Samsung Galaxy S 3 Mini, as anticipated a few days ago. Here is its retail price and arrival in Italy.
A few days ago, we reported on some rumors about the likely release of the new Samsung Galaxy S 3 Mini, the smartphone successor to the Samsung Galaxy S 3.
We are returning to the topic because on the afternoon of Thursday, October 11, Samsung officially presented the device, thus confirming the anticipations revealed here on FullPress.
The Samsung Galaxy S 3 Mini appears to be simply a downsized version of its predecessor, especially since at first glance it is the screen that reveals the reduced dimensions: it returns to a 4-inch touch display, but the resolution also takes a step back, with 800×480 pixels.
However, other technical specifications also see a general reduction, starting with the processor, which in this case will be a 1 GHz dual-core and no longer, therefore, a 1.5 GHz quad-core.
The operating system, however, is very current: it will natively feature Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The camera is reduced to 5 megapixels and videos are also limited to 720p.
The battery is 1500 mAh, so its daily duration should be acceptable.
As for memory, the RAM remains 1 GB, while for available internal storage options, there will be an 8GB version and a 16 GB version, with the possibility of extending storage up to 32 GB with a microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy S 3 Mini will arrive in Italy in November at a price not yet fully fixed but estimated to be around 399 euros for the base version.
Finally, there will be two available colors: white or blue.
