Kindle Paperwhite: price and release in Italy

Amazon unveils the price of Kindle Paperwhite, also officializing the sales launch date in our country.

The new ebook reader also arrives in Italy Kindle Paperwhite: Amazon has released the technical specifications, also announcing the sale price and the release date.
Of course, you will be able to buy Kindle Paperwhite on Amazon.it, as is always the case for Amazon brand products.
Kindle Paperwhite is characterized by having – compared to its predecessor Kindles which remain available for sale – 62% more pixels.
Not only that: the contrast is also improved by 25%, but above all the new Kindle Paperwhite features a screen with front light: this means that the light from the 4 LEDs will not directly hit the user’s eyes, thanks to the presence of an anti-reflective layer towards the screen itself.
This way you can read in any lighting condition without straining your eyes and also be able to adjust the brightness.
Despite this, the battery promises excellent performance, with a duration of about 8 weeks, even when you decide to keep the screen light always on.
Moreover, the screen has integrated touch technology.
Kindle Paperwhite will be sold in two different versions: with 3G and with 3G + Wi-Fi.
It should be specified that the 3G connection is free, allowing you to download the books you want to read even without looking for Wi-Fi hotspots in more than 80 countries around the world. Amazon takes care of the connection costs to allow the purchase and download of books, wherever you are.

The dimensions of Kindle Paperwhite are contained: its thickness is 9.1 millimeters for 213 grams.
