Here are the features of the Samsung Galaxy Premier, a smartphone officially presented by the company.
Only a few details were missing to complete the picture regarding the features of Samsung Galaxy Premier: several rumors had surfaced in recent weeks, most of which have been confirmed.
The new Samsung Galaxy Premier will initially be released only in Ukraine, but its arrival in stores across the rest of Europe is also conceivable, although this eventuality – it should be specified – has not yet been officially announced by the company.
Regarding the market segment where the new device is positioned, it is certainly the mid-high range, both in terms of price and technical specifications.
In brief, in fact, the new Samsung Galaxy Premier comes quite close to the top-of-the-range model Samsung Galaxy S 3, although there are some differences between the two, especially concerning the processor.
The Samsung Galaxy Premier features a dual-core OMAP 4470 CPU with a 1.5 GHz frequency.
Another point of divergence is represented by the screen, which in the new terminal is a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1280 Ă— 720 pixels.
It is certain that the native operating system will be Android 4.1, but an update to Android 4.2 is expected.
Regarding memory, 1 GB of RAM is reported, and two internal storage options to choose from: 8 GB and 16 GB, expandable with a 32 GB microSD card.
The camera setup is generous, with two cameras: the main one (located on the back) is 8 Megapixels, while the front one – useful for video calls and video chats, for example – is 1.9 Megapixels.
It is also possible to choose connectivity modules, between the 3G version and the one suitable for ultra-fast browsing on LTE networks.
As for the price, in Ukraine the new Samsung Galaxy Premier will cost around 520 euros.
