Is it a smartphone or an advanced camera? It’s the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, the hybrid soon to be released in Italy.
Samsung has officially announced a new release for the Italian market: the new Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is about to arrive in stores in our country.
The device squarely falls into the smartphone category, but it’s actually a true hybrid.
The camera system has been particularly developed, allowing it to be defined – as stated in the released note – as “the perfect synthesis between smartphone and camera“.
What truly captures attention is the 20.7-megapixel CMOS BSI sensor, which boasts a retracting lens with up to 10x optical zoom.
Accompanying this is a powerful flash for low-light situations: a Xenon flash has been chosen.
With such features, a compact camera will be superfluous, and this smartphone can become a valuable ally for capturing sharp and successful photographs, further supported by OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
Numerous functionalities are included: from filters to the self-timer (or selfie, as you prefer), to precise focusing even on moving objects.
There’s also a second camera, located at the front, with a resolution of 2 megapixels.
Regarding the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, the chosen operating system is Android version KitKat 4.4.2.
The processor is an Exynos 5260 hexa-core, supported by 2 GB of RAM, while the native internal memory is 8 GB: a modest amount, but expandable via microSD card.
The screen is a 4.8-inch touchscreen with Super AMOLED technology and a 720p resolution.
Connectivity – ensuring fast and easy photo sharing – is provided by Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 4G-LTE, GPS, and NFC modules.
Finally, the smartphone’s battery life is guaranteed by a 2430 mAh battery.
No information has been leaked yet regarding the price of the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom: as soon as this important detail becomes known, we will report it.
