The first week of September will herald great news for Samsung: the company will launch the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
A major move for Samsung: at the beginning of September, the technology device company will present its new device to the world.
Apparently, its first smartwatch, which will be named Galaxy Gear, is on its way.
Despite what some industry observers have speculated, Samsung will not wait for the IFA event in Berlin – always a prominent showcase for new launches – but will present its new Galaxy Gear a couple of days earlier, on the upcoming September 4th.
The intention to preempt the competition is evident: a race to market that will certainly attract attention from specialized mass media and technology enthusiasts, on days when the glut of news about new releases has not yet begun.
At the same time, some leaks about the technical specifications of the Galaxy Gear have also emerged.
According to what has been learned, the new wrist device will be equipped with a 2-megapixel camera and a 1.67-inch screen.
The processor is expected to be a dual-core 1.5 GHz, but the brand is unknown and further details cannot yet be revealed, as they are still unknown.
Just a few more days and the Samsung Galaxy Gear will have no secrets.
