While waiting to see it in person, here are the features of the Panasonic Lumix GH3, a new interchangeable-lens mirrorless digital camera.
Panasonic has just unveiled a new camera, the Panasonic Lumix GH3, whose main feature is being a mirrorless digital camera.
The digital sensor is a 16.05 Megapixel Live MOS, and the pairing with high ISO sensitivity of 12800 (extended: ISO 25600) allows for satisfactory images even in low light conditions.
The processor is a Venus Engine, accompanied by 3DNR (3D Noise Reduction) and MNR (Multi-process Noise Reduction) to process everything, benefiting from significant noise reduction.
In addition to shooting photos, the Panasonic Lumix GH3 can also record Full HD videos, capturing simultaneously in AVCHD, AVCHD Progressive, and MOV, or in MP4.
The wide range of recording formats supported by this camera are the same generally used by production studios and television broadcasters.
It is also possible to use Face Detection AF, full-area touch AF, and AF Tracking functions for both photographs and videos.
Shooting will be precise whether monitoring the scene on the 3.0-inch OLED screen with 614K pixels, or using the 1.744K OLED viewfinder instead.
Practical and manageable (weighing 550 grams with battery and memory SD card included), the sharing of captured or recorded material is also particularly useful, as this camera is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi.
Not only that, but the Panasonic Lumix GH3 can automatically detect available networks, choosing from trusted ones – for example, your home or office network – to enable fast syncing, and you can also choose to transfer it to the cloud or to smartphones and tablets, whether they are Android or iOS.
It is worth noting the ability to take photos and record videos without touching the camera, simply by issuing the command via smartphone or tablet.
