There are no price indications but the features of the Panasonic LUMIX G5, a new Compact System Camera, are already known.
News from Panasonic in the photography sector: the upcoming release of the Panasonic LUMIX G5, a new Compact System Camera, has been announced.
A launch date for this camera is not yet known, nor is its price currently available: however, the company has released the technical details characterizing this camera.
It starts with a 16.05-megapixel Micro Four Thirds Live MOS Sensor which, along with the possibility of using sensitivity from 160 to 12,800 ISO, allows for consistently sharp images, even in poor lighting conditions.
Regarding the chosen processor, it is a Venus Engine VII FHD that quickly processes captured photos and videos.
Many functions support shooting: ‘Light Speed AF’ autofocus, Face detection, AF Tracking, and Sequential Shots are some of the elements contributing to the camera’s excellent performance.
Naturally, alongside the simple possibility of taking photos, there is the opportunity to shoot Full HD 1080/50p videos with stereo audio.
To make the most of the Panasonic LUMIX G5, you can choose to use either the 3-inch LCD screen or the electronic viewfinder: each framing can thus be evaluated as you see fit.
In particular, when using the screen, it is possible to focus by touching the display, achieving desired effects with a simple touch.
We will return to this camera once its price and arrival date in Italian stores are announced.
