Nokia tablet coming in February 2013: rumors

Eyes on the February 2013 calendar: a Nokia tablet could hit the market. Here are the rumors.

There’s reportedly a lot of activity and hard work going on at Nokia to launch a new product soon: rumors suggest the possible release of a Nokia tablet.
Although not yet confirmed by the Finnish company, the information was leaked by the website Digitimes: this is a specialized portal that is usually very well-informed about new releases of this kind.
In addition to forecasting the arrival of Nokia’s potential new tablet on the market, the site puts forward an even more concrete hypothesis about the likely presentation period for the new device.
The perfect occasion could indeed be the Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona, an event that has always been crucial, almost fundamental, for industry players to release new products.
We know that the event takes place every February, which leads us to conclude that the Nokia tablet might have its most dazzling and imminent showcase at MWC 2013 in Barcelona.

Digitimes has revealed few details regarding the technical specifications of the potential future device: it is speculated to have a 10-inch screen, a Qualcomm S4 processor, and the Windows Tablet RT operating system.
This is certainly not the first time there has been talk of a possible Nokia tablet release: about a year ago, the arrival of a new range of tablets was already being speculated, without any actual follow-through. At the time, even positive statements from Stephen Elop, chief executive officer of Nokia Corporation, supported the hypothesis.
However, something must not have gone as planned in the debut plans, and the project to launch a Nokia tablet was postponed indefinitely.
Could this now be the right time to present the much-discussed Nokia tablet?
