Nokia Lumia 510, low-cost Windows Phone

The Nokia Lumia 510 should be the low-cost smartphone designed by Nokia, set for release in the coming months.

An announcement has been made regarding the release of a smartphone in Nokia’s Lumia series: the new Nokia Lumia 510 is arriving. It should be noted that the company’s official announcement pertained to the Asian market, where the Nokia Lumia 510 will be available in stores starting in November. It is likely that the device will reach Italian and European shelves during 2013, although there is no certain release date at the moment. Nokia has decided to launch a low-cost smartphone that can capture a lower target audience, eager to enjoy the opportunities of mobile communication but with a limited budget, compared to the prices of previously released Lumias. Little information is known yet, except that the operating system will be Windows Phone 7.5 and the screen will be a bright 4 inches. Furthermore, the main camera will be 5 megapixels, and the proposed colors will be five: red, black, blue, white, and yellow.

The memory configuration is very basic: 256 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage make it an absolutely entry-level smartphone, with a ‘minimum guaranteed’ configuration that would be unthinkable to imagine as any more basic. All of this justifies the price of $199, which it might have on the American market. The price for Italy is not yet known, but certainly, as soon as there is any news in this regard, we will discuss it again to update the situation before its sale in our country.
