The new “cameraphone” Nokia Lumia 1020 arrives in Italy: here’s the price and release date in stores.
Recently unveiled, the new smartphone Nokia Lumia 1020 is ready to arrive in Italian stores.
The new device from Nokia has been the talk of the town since its announcement, mainly due to its unprecedented camera system.
The camera setup features a second-generation 41-megapixel sensor, Nokia’s PureView technology, optical image stabilization, and ZEISS optics with six lenses.
The dedicated Nokia Pro Camera application allows users to make the most of these features, capturing detailed and crisp photos and videos, further enhanced by a Xenon flash for still images and an LED flash for videos.
Regarding other technical specifications, the operating system is Windows Phone 8, the processor is a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Dual-core, supported by 2 GB of RAM.
Internal storage is 32 GB, with an additional 7 GB available for free on the SkyDrive service.
The display is a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA (1280×768 pixel resolution), with Corning Gorilla 3 PureMotion HD+ 2.5D sculpted glass and ClearBlack technology.
There is a second camera for video calls, a 1.2 Megapixel high-definition wide-angle lens.
Finally, the battery is 2000 mAh, with Wireless charging support via a cover.
The price of the Nokia Lumia 1020 is 699 euros, as recommended by Nokia.
Please note that pre-orders started today on the Nokia website, while the arrival in stores – in yellow, white, and black – is scheduled for September 10th.
