Nikon Filmmaker Kit, dedicated to videomakers

New Nikon kit dedicated to filmmakers and videomakers, essential for those who want to shoot with the Nikon mirrorless system.

The Nikon Filmmaker Kit is comprised of all those useful tools to quickly produce high-quality footage, obviously allowing for customization with additional components according to your preferences.

The first two elements that make up the Nikon Filmmaker Kit are theNikon Z 6 mirrorless camera and the FTZ adapter, which allows for perfect integration of the camera with F-mount NIKKOR lenses, thus offering extremely high-quality full-frame 4K video at high bit-rates. The advanced 5-axis optical VR stabilization function managed by the image sensor in the Nikon Z 6 camera body also works in conjunction with electronic VR to ensure perfect shots.

Atomos Open Protocol is also supported to allow perfect integration with the included Atomos Ninja V. By the end of the year, a firmware update will be released that will support ProRes RAW recording from Apple via the camera’s RAW output when using the Atomos Ninja V, ensuring maximum flexibility in tonal grading managed in color grading.

Another decidedly important element is the SmallRig quick-release camera “video cage” frame, equipped with a top-mount handle for smoother moving images and easier subject tracking.

• SmallRig Handle: top-mount grip for easy subject tracking.
• SmallRig Magic Arm: mount the Atomos Ninja V to the camera cage with the Magic Arm clamp.
