Motorola bursts into the entry-level and low-cost smartphone market by presenting the new “Motorola Moto E”.
After numerous rumors, Motorola has played its ace to enter the smartphone market segment traditionally called “entry level”. The company has indeed presented the “Motorola Moto E” which will initially be available only in certain countries, including Italy not yet among them. It will be possible to purchase it in India, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Spain, and the United Kingdom, but an approximate launch date for the rest of the world is not yet known. Regarding the Motorola Moto E features, the operating system on board is Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The screen has a 4.3-inch diagonal with a 960×540 pixel resolution (256ppi) and Gorilla Glass 3. Its heart consists of a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor accompanied by 1 GB of RAM, while the available internal memory is 4 GB: all quite basic but, in any case, good features when compared to the price we are about to reveal. Obviously, the internal storage can be expanded using a microSD card, up to a maximum of an additional 32 GB.
There is only one camera, and it is 5 megapixels; therefore, the front camera is missing. Finally, the battery in this smartphone is 1980 mAh, and the proposed colors are black and white, although there are as many as 20 covers that can be used to dress the device, making it fully customizable to your preferred color. There is also talk of a future release of a dual-SIM version, but in the meantime, while awaiting further news, it is possible to communicate the Motorola Moto E price in the markets where it will be launched: it is around 89 pounds in the UK, just under 130 dollars in the United States, and the equivalent of about 80/85 euros for India.
