Ready for release is the new smartphone LG Optimus 4X HD, a quad-core also coming to Italy: here is the availability date and the latest news.
Just a few days after its presentation, we illustrated the features of LG Optimus 4X HD, a brand new quad-core smartphone from LG that is about to arrive in our local stores.
The official announcement regarding its release date came this morning, so we are returning to discuss the device confirming that LG Optimus 4X HD will be available in Italy and throughout Western Europe starting from June.
In particular, LG Optimus 4X HD will be sold in our country in two colors: white and black.
Its great potential is confirmed, which is mainly based on the NVIDIA Tegra 3 4-PLUS-1 Quad-Core mobile processor, a device that saves energy and therefore runs applications and main smartphone functions faster.
It is a “smart” processor, since it understands how much energy is needed and selectively activates its components: in low consumption mode (now when the device goes into standby) a fifth dedicated processor comes into operation, characterized by its low power consumption.
There are some new features compared to the presentation made at the Mobile World Congress: first of all, we note that the battery is 2,150 mAh, definitely powerful. In addition, the new SiO+ technology acts on it, which brings a higher energy density to the battery, thus making it last longer, without affecting the thickness in any way, to the full advantage of its design.
On the software side, the smartphone has also been equipped with other new features: Quick Memo and Media Plex.
The first allows you to take notes on any image or displayed page, also allowing sharing.
The second, instead, works on images and videos, allowing real-time Zoom, even on videos; visual search with preview possibility by touching the progress bar; the ability to display a thumbnail of a video while watching another one in full screen, and finally, control of video speed.
Apparently, the upcoming summer will be the era of supersmartphones: after LG Optimus 4X HD, we also remember the announcement of the release of Samsung Galaxy S 3.
