Keon and Peak: Firefox OS Smartphone Prices Revealed

We spoke about it some time ago, and now the time has come to learn more about the release of Keon and Peak, the new smartphones based on Firefox OS.
It is now known that as of today, the two devices are available for purchase through Geeksphone, a Spanish company.
The target customer is the developer who believes in the open-source project that has always been the foundation of products from Mozilla labs.
Moreover, the choice to design smartphones in the low-price segment also reflects a strategy that aims for easy accessibility for everyone.
The Peak is the model we would define as the current “top of the range”:
– 1.2 GHz Qualcomm 8225 dual-core processor;
– RAM: 512 MB;
– Internal memory: 4 GB;
– 8-megapixel camera;
– 2-megapixel front camera;
– 4.3-inch IPS multitouch screen.

The Keon, on the other hand, features the following:
1 GHz Qualcomm Cortex A5 processor;
– RAM: 512 MB;
– Internal memory: 4 GB;
– 3-megapixel camera;
– 3.5-inch multitouch screen.
The price of Peak is 179 euros; the price of Keon is 110 euros.
