The trend seems clear and well-defined in the smartphone sector: it is no secret that manufacturing companies are focusing on curved displays.
Apple also appears to be moving in this direction: the latest rumors speak of the upcoming development of iPhone 6, with a curved screen as standard.
This anticipation comes from the always well-informed portal Bloomberg, which reports a significant development in displays.
In Cupertino, work is reportedly underway on the production of pressure-sensitive screens, and more generally, the company is moving towards larger surfaces, with new, larger dimensions for iPhones.
Could Apple’s first phablet be on its way? It’s too early to say, but at least regarding the discussion of touchscreen curvature, there seems to be no doubt.
After all, Samsung and LG have already led the way in this regard, showcasing themselves as precursors to what appears to be the upcoming trend.

For Apple, however, such a release is hypothesized for the latter part of 2014, in the best-case scenario.
Finally, a new course is also being charted for the Cupertino company: according to further previews, the release of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C has marked the beginning of a new phase.
It seems that in the future, additional new versions of top-of-the-line models will be introduced to the market.
If this is confirmed, alongside the next iPhone 6, potential iPhone 6C models could arrive shortly thereafter, targeting different market segments.
